Listening Movement Pathways goals and approach is to allow our clients to learn to listen and trust our inner voice, use movement through our breath and body to connect our mind & body, and gain a state of homeostasis. Accepting that at different times of our life there may be approaches or avenues we have to adapt to for this full body balance and healing. We believe that everyone has the ability to live a happy and fulfilling life with guidance and support. Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that mental and emotional well-being are integral to overall health, and that therapy can be a powerful tool for achieving this balance. The integration of Psychotherapy and Yoga Therapy can allow more mind-body connection. Exploring our purpose in life and meaning by doing activities that feed our soul and what is unique to our reason of living happily is a main process of growth with Listening Movement Pathways. Finding hope and meaning to life while suffering can seem impossible but it is possible with connection, awareness, and support.
Listening Movement Pathways has many intentions & therapy styles for clients.
The goal is to support clients to listen to their own bodies and intuition. Allowing clients to build trust within themselves to find their right path in life, while building trust and rapport with the therapist. Emotion-Centered Psychotherapy & Person -Centered Psychotherapy skills are used to achieve this.
Movement is used at Listening Movement Pathways by integrating yoga therapy, breath work, somatic movement, & vagus nerve activation. Individual treatment plans including the movement are catered specifically to each client for their own needs or wants.
Challenges happen in life so, sometimes our pathways to living more and stressing less may have to change. Listening Movement Pathways supports clients by offering many specific pathways on healing journeys, life events, and teaching adaptability concepts. Challenges and changes in life are a constant and knowing the direction the client wants to go with their life is highly important for growth and progress. Logo Therapy, & Solution-Focused Therapy is used for the support of this.
